1957 b&w halftone photo postcard (NOT a rppc) showing a crowd gathered at the Wauwatosa Wiscomsin depot to celelbrate the 100th anniversary of the Milwaukee Road railroad's first run in 1850 (Photo presumably taken in 1950 but this card appears to have been produced in 1957). The railroad's name in those early years was the Milwaukee & Mississippi Rail Road. The scene was re-enacted with a period steam engine.
This card is a standard size postcard and was published by Bob Fremming in Dallas, Wisconsin - apprently in April 1957 (date printed to the right of his name).
As of 10 July 2021 I wasn't able to find this view listed anywhere else @ ebay in either current or completed listings (I checked both postcard & transportation collectibles)
Postally unused (but I only have one of these); FINE CONDITION . . . . . .
NOTE: the faint & very faintly tinted lateral Moiré pattern lines you MAY see in the 1st & 2nd scans are added BY MY SCANNER - they are NOT ON the original view
